Process

Starting Point

PIPES started as brush lettering experiments on cardboard — testing how far you could push a round stroke before it needed to go flat.

Building the Variable Axes

The weight axis controls stroke thickness from 30 (hairline tube) to 200 (heavy pipe). The block axis morphs round terminals into flat chops — two different lettering traditions in one font.
