Privacy Policy

Dollar Signs is operated by Tynes Signs, a sign shop in Coker, Alabama, run by Creighton Tynes. It's a private, invite-only iOS app where vetted sign painters share real job details and prices with each other. The short version: we collect what you choose to post so the app can work, we show it to other approved members, and we don't run ads, track you across other apps, or sell your data. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

What we collect

• Account info. When you sign in with Apple we receive your name (if you share it), your email or Apple's private relay address, and a unique account identifier.
• Profile you provide. Display name, city/state, bio, years in the trade, specialties, shop size, portfolio and Instagram links, and an avatar — all optional except a display name.
• Content you post. Job posts (specs, location, hours, materials, prices, bids, notes), photos, price estimates and reasoning, comments, and reactions.
• Moderation records. Reports you file and members you block.
• No analytics, ads, or location. We don't collect device analytics, advertising identifiers, or your location. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs for security and operations.

How we use it

To run the app — showing your posts, estimates, comments, and profile to other approved members — and to operate the invite/approval system, moderate the community, secure the service, and contact you about your account. We don't sell your personal information, share it with data brokers, use it for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and sites.

Who can see your content

• Other approved members see your posts, prices, estimates, comments, profile, and name — that's the product. If you post a job or submit an estimate anonymously, your identity is hidden from other members for that content (the operator can still see it, which is how the community stays vetted).
• Estimates on live quotes stay private to the author. On jobs that are still being quoted (pre-bid), your estimate is shown only to the post's author until the job advances — members never see each other's estimates on live quotes.
• The operator (admin) can see all content, including reports.
• No one else. The app is invite-only; content is not public on the web.

Members can see each other's pricing data. Our terms prohibit sharing it outside the app, and the app blocks screenshots, but no measure is perfect — post only what you're comfortable sharing with the community.

Who processes your data

A small set of providers handle data on our behalf, on servers in the United States:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and API hosting (accounts, posts, estimates, comments).
• Cloudflare (R2) — photo storage, served through short-lived signed links.

Deleting your account & data

You can delete your account any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing us. Deletion permanently removes your profile, posts, photos, estimates, comments, and reactions, including estimates and comments you left on other members' posts. Backups age out on our providers' standard schedules. You can also delete individual posts you authored, except where the app restricts deletion because other members have already invested estimates.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to certain processing. Email creighton@tynessigns.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We don't discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.

Children

Dollar Signs is for working sign-trade professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes & contact
